Doors that open onto the pavement
A terraced front door with no path and no porch is a different proposition from a suburban door set back behind a gate. It gets weather straight onto it, and anyone standing at it is standing in public.
That changes what we recommend. A keypad on a street-facing door wants to be one where the code cannot be read over a shoulder from the pavement, and the unit wants to be properly sealed rather than the cheapest thing that fits.
