Most of the failures we get called out to are not faulty hardware. They are a lock fitted to a door it was never designed for, a gateway placed where the Bluetooth cannot reach it, or an access setup that made sense on the day and nobody can administer six months later.

Close view of a multipoint door mechanism and handle, the kind of existing hardware a survey has to account for.

01

We look at the door before quoting

Thickness, backset, whether it is a multipoint mechanism, whether it is uPVC, composite or timber. All of it changes which locks are viable, and none of it can be judged from a photograph.

If no lock is a good fit for your door, we say so then — not after taking payment.

02

Fitted to the manufacturer's spec

The lock is chosen for the door and for how people actually need to get in, not because we are tied to one brand. Where a gateway is needed for remote access, its position is surveyed rather than guessed — Bluetooth range is about 10 to 15 metres in practice.

03

You leave holding the admin

Codes, cards, fingerprints or app — whichever suits who needs access. We show you how to issue and revoke them, where the battery override is, and what the low-battery warning looks like.

The lock and its account are yours on handover. We keep no access unless you ask us to manage it.

Who we work for

  • Your own home

One door, a keypad or a fingerprint, because you have run out of spare keys you are happy to hand out.

    Smart locks for homes
  • Holiday lets and Airbnb

Guests let themselves in on a code that expires at checkout. No key handover, no lockbox.

    Locks for short lets
  • Landlords and letting agents

Tenancy changes, contractor access and portfolios, invoiced on terms rather than paid on the day.

    For property managers
  • Offices and commercial

Staff cards cancelled the day someone leaves, and fire doors specified properly.

    Commercial installations
  • Councils, housing and schools

Purchase orders, phased rollouts across sites, and a written record for every door.

    Public sector work
  • More doors than an app can handle

We write the software that runs the locks as well as fitting them — codes issued and expired on their own.

The locks we fit

We fit Yale, Nuki, August, Igloohome and TTLock, and we will fit one you have bought yourself.

Which suits you depends on the door and how you use it. Yale and Nuki go on most homes — a name you know, and a tidy result. TTLock earns its place on rentals and holiday lets, where codes have to be issued and expired constantly. We survey before recommending, and we are not tied to any of them — see what we install.

Why choose us?

Local specialist installers, not a national franchise. We choose the right lock for your door, survey before quoting, and fix the price before any work starts. After handover the lock is yours — we do not keep access unless you ask us to.

Straight answers

What happens if the battery dies while I'm out?

Every lock we fit keeps a way in that does not depend on the battery — a mechanical key override, an emergency power contact, or both. We show you which one your lock has before we leave.

Will it fit my door?

That is what the survey decides. uPVC, composite, timber and multipoint doors all take different locks, and some doors are not sound enough to hold one at all.

Can someone who can't use a keypad still get in?

Yes. Most locks we fit take a card or fob as well as a PIN, and many take a fingerprint. A card is usually the answer — tap it and the door opens, no code to remember.

Do you keep access to my lock afterwards?

No. The lock and its app account are yours on handover.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the lock and the door, so we quote after the survey rather than publishing a figure that would be wrong for half the jobs. The quote is fixed before work starts, and if the survey turns up something unexpected we re-quote and you can walk away at no cost.

Do you work with letting agents and housing providers?

Yes, and they are invoiced with agreed payment terms rather than paying on the day. Contracts run from a single site to multi-building rollouts.
