What it does
Everything the lock does is set from one app on your phone, the Smart Lock app. Add fingerprints for the household, make a PIN that never expires or one that only works between two times, hand out cards or fobs, and open the door remotely for someone standing outside it.
Doors it goes on
It is made to live outside: rated IP65 or higher, so a front door that takes the rain is fine. The body is 2.8 cm wide, which suits the narrow frame of a typical uPVC door, and it works with the multipoint mechanism that is already in the door.
We still look at the door before anything is ordered. If it will not take the lock, there is nothing to pay.
Lets, homes and access needs
On an Airbnb or a holiday let, each guest gets a PIN for the dates of their stay. At home, a fingerprint or a card is easier than a key for anyone with limited grip or who struggles with a keypad.
